Hello, I have a 2004 Mustang GT. Has a fully built Tremec 3650 with a stage 3 spec clutch mated to a built up motor. The clutch cable snapped today and was wondering what cable you guys would suggest? Again, the stage three clutch has a bit more pressure than the stock clutch, would the stock cable be able to handle it or is there an aftermarket cable you would recommend?

Thanks in advance for all your help.

Stock only. Aftermarket cables are built poorly. Even if the build quality was up to par with OE, the cable diameter is the same so there's nothing out there that is stronger than OE either. The Spec Stage 3 is quite popular and I don't think I've heard of problems with guys using it with a stock cable. With the TR3650 though, I would check your pivot ball height as Ford's 11" discs are thinner than most after market discs. This can lead to the wrong angle on the fork which would in turn increase the tension in the cable.
