Which Firing Order?

1133 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  tonys10sec306
I am rebuilding a 1986 302 Roller Motor that came from a Thunderbird. It is going back to a 1975 Ford Bronco Halfcab. To make everything work out good with the stock electronic Ignition, which firing order. What I can find on this engine says its an H.O. motor. It will go back with a flat tappet cam. More of a daily driver application than offroad. Would it matter if it was a roller or flat tappet in regards to the firing order? Thanks.

If you are putting a flat tappet in there it'll be the old 302 firing order unless you put a 351 specific one in.
check the firing order it will tell you if its a h.o motor. i dont think it is
