Alright everyone, I am due to get my FE back from machine assembly this week. It's a 416ci, 390 block, IU 428 crank, C8OE-N Cobra Jet heads, 270H Comp K Kit, PI Intake, 735 C9AFU Holley etc. you get the picture nothing over the top just a hopefully solid street engine that is going in a 1969 Mach 1 with a Toploader and 3.25 gear. I can't decide on which oil pump to use, high volume, high pressure, standard, brand? The car will be a driver with some ocassional flogging. Just want some input from you all on what would be the best option. Thanks Dwayne R.

I always use a high volume for the street. Never had a problem. Make sure you use a heavy duty oil pump drive shaft.

x2. High volume, normal pressure. Restrict the heads a bit and keep the cam/crank happy.

Thanks for the info guys, high volume standard pressure pump from POPS and an ARP pump shaft for this unit.
