It does not have a posi now. When I get the 393 in what do I need to do to make this thing grab. I know I'll change the tires probably to Mickeys. But should I go with a locker or a true posi or is there something better? Sorry if some of my questions seem very basic to you guys. This is my first muscle car and also my first engine to build. TIA

The Best i found was Powertrack limited slip. I works good for me. It cost me like 500.00 though.

If you want no frills, no noise, go with the tried and true 28 spline trac-lok. Big power use the 31 spline, but get the one with the billet back. The Ford 31 spline trac-loks with the cast backs are weak. I would stay away from the lockers they are noisy, louder than you might think and can get annoying.

I agree with nastystang on this the lockers are noisy especially when disengaging around corners and reengaging,But there is nothing like knowing both wheels will spin all the time no matter what, especailly in my 4x4.
