I would like to know if you are eating speedo gears. I run the white gear, it has the most teeth you can get so they are thin, but the tranny goes thru them like food thru a dog.

I used to run a pretty wicked 88 5.0 LX with 4.10s and a T-5, I didnt notice any problems with the speedo or trans gears.

Maybe it is the speedo cable, it is 37 years old.
