I just went and got my new mustang today (8/7/12). It's an 89 Mustang GT hatchback. When i got in he car last weekend to check it out, the passenger window would not go down. Got in it to drive it home today and the window did go down, and also back up when i got to the curb store for gas. Then back down on the way out. Well when i got home, it wouldnt go back up. When i hit the up button on the drivers panel for the pass. window, i hear an almost silent click from the passenger door and that's all.

What do you guys think? Wires? Fuse? Switch?
Could i take the door panel off and try to help/force the window up? At least until i can get it to a shop for window work.

95% chance it is the switch. If not check motor, gears, wiring, in that order. Start the car and push the switch several times 30-40 if nessasary. I'll bet it will go up. then replace the switch. You can remove the switch and jumper at the connector just make sure you get the right wires.
