Can I install my windshield before installing my dash or should I put the dash in first???
The pad refinish is expensive and don’t want to wait months before driving.

would be easier to do the dash w the windshield out. I just replaced my dash in my 66 a few mos ago. .02

Did the both ways and have found dash first the windshield. But what type of vehicle are we talking about. Makes a difference.

Lots of clips in the front of the dash that secure it near where it meets the window are much easier to do with the window out. But, very doable with the window still in if you have the patience and tools. If you are going to have to wait months to drive the car just because of this, I would install the window then know your going to have to have patience with the project later to install the front dash clips. Better to use the car and have fun than let it sit just for that, if that is what you meant.
