And I'm gettin spark to the plugs?

This all came about from last weeks module break down. The car was running fine, parked it, then it wouldn't start again, checked the duraspark module and it was melted in the back pretty bad and the car wasn't producing any spark at all.

I put in a new MSD 6A module today, along with an MSD coil. I've got spark at the coil and to the plugs, the plugs look fine and spark, I've got gas in the carb and even used starting fluid, the rotor is pointing at number 1 when the number 1 piston is all the way up, and it won't start???
I tried moving the distributor around some with no change.

Am I missing something here?

It's all good again.
When the car died I bought a new coil hoping thats all it was, even though the MSD coil that was on there was only 3 months old. That didn't fix it.
Then I took the module off and it was melted up good in the back. Put an MSD 6A module on it, and figured I'd put the MSD coil back on. Bad idea. It gave just enough spark to make me think it was alright. Put the new coil on I had just bought and that fixed it. So, my module and my coil went bad at the same time.
Now I've got to put a diode in line with the alt. light to get rid of the run on problem I have, the only way to shut it off is by pulling the coil wire and you really don't want to have to do that with the MSD box. They're not kidding about the multiple spark it's pretty impressive.
