These are from a couple of weeks ago, racing down at Union Grove, Wisconsin. (GLD) (da grove).
In either case, weather was HOT, track temp was around 146 degrees. but STILL the traction was there.

Made 4 runs. First 3 within 5 thou of each other.

Here are the first and last runs. (Dale tinkered with the alst one for more 'effect'.). Tripped the 60's on that one with the REAR wheels.

The car weighs 2500 pounds. Add another 220 for my fat arce, and that's what ya get.

(just think how fast it would go with someone skinny behind the wheel)> :????

I'm currently piecing together a 'cheater' system instead of the little toy sniper NOS setup I was playing with.
Still missing a couple of key ingredients, BUT hopefully by mid september planning on trailering back down to GLD to pop either an 8 or LOTS of parts!

Should be interesting, either way!

Thanks for the kind thoughts.

Enjoy the vids!

Can't honestly answer that question. It might have been. On the last pass, I tried shifting into 2nd IN THE AIR. The engine/setup didn't like that at all. It bounced pretty hard when it landed to the left, bounced again, went right, (figured it might have unloaded the slicks a bit when it bounced), then went straight after that.

I'm getting quite excited about 'hitting it' with the 200 and 250 shot prett soon here................:&gt

Show that video to a chassis specialist. Maybe he can advise you on how to adjust the wheelie bars so you can run 8s without the nitrous! Looks like you are there!

P.S. Enjoyed the first and last runs

If you only knew how MUCH work my suspension needs (the rear anyway).
It's an antiquated ladder bar setup that is totally set up wrong. (always spend my winter upgrade money to go faster, when I should be ripping out the rear suspension and putting in a 4 link).
Anyway, for sure, it shouldn't even be going as fast as it is set up the way it is now, but I"ll work with it till the end of the season. :&gt
