1970 Torino Grille Repair

I'm in the process of a complete restore on a 1970 Torino formal roof. The grille is damaged and sagging in the middle. It seems to be made of aluminum but I'm really not sure, does anyone have any recommendations for fixing this. The grill is broken on top and bottom where it connects to the vehicle in the center which is why it is sagging. I wouldn't be against buying one in better condition, I just dont want to pay the premium price they are selling for.

Re: 1970 Torino Grille Repair

My grill is in the exact same condition as the original poster. (sagging, a couple of broken tabs, etc.) Has anyone been successful in restoring these? If so, what is the process? I don't want to mess with it, for fear of breaking it beyond repair.

Seems like it wouldn't hold up long. I may give it a try anyway...

Try it don't try it no skin off my nose, I have use it for years on ABS grilles. dashes, consoles, a pillar trim etc works great on ABS.
