68 f100 disk brakes

hey i was told that 68 f100s had disk brake option. but the only parts i could find are for 68 f250s and up.

anybody know for sure?

and can f250 disk brake parts fit on f100s?

MPC shows no disc option for 1968 F-100.

Shows available on the F-250.

Not sure if they would work. But if they did and you used f250 parts wouldn't you end up with 8 bolt wheels upfront.

Maybe 73 and newer f100/150 might interchange?

It is my understanding that 73-79 disc brake front end will interchange with the old 65 and up stuff...I think Arabian454 is probably right about the 8 stud wheels on the 250s.

Very decent article Kult... IF i can ever find a cheap bump side P/U again will be handy... have had 5 of them and only the last had discs. (factory ordered) A 72 Explorer XLT... or that was the badging anyways.... lol

Cheap, Fast, Reliable... Pick 2...
