I hope I'm not going to wear out my welcome here, but right now, you guys know more than I do about my car and I'm trying to catch up! When I got my car, the choke was wired open and starting it in the morning was next to impossible without ether. I have freed up the linkage, reassembled and lubricated and it now operates smoothly (as it turned out the wire that was supposedly holding it open really was no longer needed as the linkage was jammed up tight). I've fabricated a bracket to clamp the cable and am ready to route the cable. There are a few spots on the firewall that look like "knockouts" like on an electrical box. Before I start beating on one I thought I'd better
ask. I'm running "Tri Power" so the choke linkage is on the driver's side.
