1962 Falcon V8

I'm not aware of any 62 V8 Falcons. The production cars came with either the 144 or 170 L6 depending on trim package. The T-Bird roof was introduced later in 62 and replaced the bubble window.
 
Well, I think they are manufactured the year before they came out. My 1960 said it was manufactured in 1959. Here is some photos of the car.

Well this sure looks like a 62 to me. Some other identifiers to look for.

1) The side fender birds are unique to the 62.
2) The Futura script on the quarters near the tail lights were 62 only. 63 said Falcon.
3) The F U T U R A letters on the rear were used on 62 and 63. The 62 were specual though. The two U's were not interchangable. The mounting posts were case different. They fixed this in 63.
