Mine will only go down really low if i get out and make sure the folds are just right. I probably look like some OCD sufferer when i put it down but if i want to get the boot on it i have to make sure it lays right. I always unzip the rear window as once the tops get a little stretched they sometimes hang up on the edge of the seat back. Plus i was told to do it and i believe the sticker is still on the rear bow inside saying to do it when lowering the top.

Maybe i am ocd, at a car show an olds guy could only get one side of his boot snapped down cause the top was up too high. I was like no, i'll leave it alone. Then in comes a '66 gm, he just hits the top button and the top is sticking up a mile when all the way down. Told my friend i can't take it anymore, that's 2 of them in front of me! So i tell the young kid what to do but get that look like lady you don't know nothing(even though he hadn't owned this one long). But i felt better anyway. The Olds guy was listening also and he at least fixed his. Maybe some tops go down all the way without all the foolin around but mine never has and i'm not sure even if it did if i wouldn't be out there doing my fussing over it!

The dropbox is a great place to find some info for sure!
