352 Timing

why are you shouting ??

did you plug the vac hose leading to the carb when you set the timing??
 
you dont need to plug the vac advance canister-- just the tube going to the carb

scorch marks on dis cap--change it--
after you got it started -did you retime it with a timing light -

un hook vac tube to dist. plug the tube--

put your timing light on it and set timing at 10 degrees befoe top dead center--engine at an idle -[about 600 rpms -- while still running hook hose back to the vac pod--
btw--make sure the vac hose is hooked to a ported vac stub on your carb-

ported vac -is the one that dosent have any vac untill you come off idle-- manifold vac has vac all the time-- they both are comeing off the bottom of the carb--
