I bought the crites headers for my 1971 comet gt I am restoring. The motor is a pro built 408 stroker. They fit in there without any problems except for moving oil filter which is no big deal. My shock towers were cut only to get to the plugs to tune it up. Here are some pictures:

Now, the car is almost done and is being painted tommorow. I receintly bought a 64 falcon sprint with a hipo 289. I just last week decided to put the 289 in the comet and the 408 stroker in the falcon. Heidt's makes an independent suspension system for the 64 which I just purchased and the motor will fit with plenty of room. I'm also running a 9" 31 spline rear with a baby c-6 trannie. I hope this helps.
