Parking light Assembly on my car is corroded with holes, is there a source for these. I find lenses and socket, but not the aluminium bezel.

I found one on Ebay.

I think that I may have a few of those in a spare parts box. Only problem is that the box is in the garage that I store my car in and I won't have a chance to go over there for a while. If you are not in a hurry then I will see what I have the next time I am at that shop. Just cover the postage and it is yours if I have a good one for you.

Will do. It probably won't be until after Thanksgiving before I make it over there again as I was just there last weekend and work has me busy now.

What side did you need, or do you need both sides?? If I remember correctly, the driver and passenger side are just a little different in the way that they are angled.

Actually they're both bad they have holes from corrosion through the aluminum bezel, but the drivers side is the worst, its hanging in there literally.

I'll look for mine also. I might need to use the driver side one though. Had to change blown bulb and still don't think it's in right and it's as bright as my headlight so thought maybe it was just the other bulb getting bad connection so cleaned the socket and put a new bulb in and it's still normal brightness. Doesn't mean i guess that the wire connection itself isn't corroded though. I haven't checked that yet as of course it was just starting to rain when i was doing all this. :)

AMRadio, I haven't forgot about your parts yet. Just didn't get a chance to go over to the shop and check out my box of spare parts yet. I did happen to notice a set on ebay today though. Seems like a reasonable price for the pair.

1964 GALAXIE 500 PARKING LIGHTS - eBay (item 270666893868 end time Nov-25-10 10:49:57 PST)

I also saw a NOS piece on ebay and the owner must think that it is made of solid gold for the price that he is asking for it.

NOS 64 FORD GALAXIE PARK LIGHT 352 390 406 427 ALUMINUM - eBay (item 220697059818 end time Dec-14-10 12:22:37 PST)

I should be going over to the shop this week some time and will check and see if I have any extra parts that you need. Just thought that I would pass on these links in case I don't have the parts you need or if they are in too bad of shape.

Much better price too! I hadn't thought of looking for signal or turn signal light housing or any variation and i was straining my little brain cell trying to think of another variation to search.

yeah i know what you mean..
you have to watch and place the maximum bid you willing to pay,
30 seconds before auction ends..
no point in bidding 3 days prior then most likely you will be out bid by a buck fifty...

AMRadio, sorry bud but I got a chance to go over to the shop and check out all my spare parts and it turns out that I don't have any turn signal housings for you. Thought for sure that I did, but couldn't find them anywhere. I did find a few housings, but they were not for the galaxie.

No problem thanks for checking, I'll probably get something off ebay.
