I went to change the belt on my 66 mustang power steering pump and found that the parts store gave me a Dayco belt that would not fit...too short. I have a double groove on the crank pulley , one for the alternator and one for the power steering. I have seen pictures with the power steering having a belt that goes around a double groove on the water pump and then around the crank and power steering pulley. I am thinking I may have an incorrect set up. The car has no A/C. My belt goes around the crank and then the pump. Is this correct.
