Interior Woodgrain panel replacements

I have a buddy with a 73 Mach1 ... He is having trouble finding a supplier for replacement wood grain panels for his doors and dash (I think the doors are the main concern)

Anyone here know of a source for these? ... also can you buy the metal panels and the woodgrain vinyl or just the replacement woodgrain vinyl?

Joe will appreciate any help he can get

What type of wood grain is it? Auto Krafters offers a woodgrain vinyl kit for Comeets. It's basically a 6" by 36" strip that you have to cut to fit. It could work provided the grain is the same.

Hmmm ... I'm not sure how to answer that

It's the factory stuff he is trying to replace ... I reck'on one would have to see both and decide if they are the same.

I used oak veneer and made my own....

Actually I did on mine also (made my own) Arm rests and insert panels all solid oak ... looks great and very durable also ...

However, I don't think Joe is much of a craftsman when it comes to that sort of thing ... need to find him the factory style replacement stuff ...

It must be out there somewhere
