throttle cable?

Hi, I've been reading this board for the past 2 years (since I got my 67 Galaxie) and finally have a question... Does anyone know where to get a throttle cable for a 67 galaxie with a 390 and 4-barrel? I've checked the places I normally check for parts and they don't have 'em

any info is appreciated.

Thanks.. I was already at their site.. but they don't show one for the galaxie.. I want one for the galaxie specifically.. not a "generic " one.. if I was gonna do that, I'd just tear one out of a junkyard for a $1

Its your only option.Other then the $1 route. Someone had asked this before.

I went through the same thing earlier this year. All I can say to spare you a lost of searching, is Lokar is the only game in town. I did do the salvage yard thing too, and got two (just in case).

Ill be upgrading to the Lokar soon.

I just went though the same thing and I wanted to keep the original look. After having one made (not cheap) I was not happy with it and went with the lokar. I used the one with the black housing and it work out fantastic. Thats the route to go...

Did you guys or gals that used the Lokar cables use the stock bracket or did you have to use a Lokar bracket?

I made mine using part of the original one. I needed to change mine over due to the new carbs. If you like and can e-mail you a photo of the set up.

With me using a 351C, I used the bracket for the 351C.
